In fact, gabardine, which means a durable fabric in French, is a thick and sturdy fabric that does not contain synthetic materials and keeps you warm. It is more suitable for use in winter due to its warmth retention properties. It is especially used in the production of jackets, skirts, and trousers in the Ready-to-Wear sector. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, it is used in making hats, bags, work clothes, riding, skiing clothes, and shoes. 

Gabardine fabric can be produced with different production techniques that facilitate price and availability thanks to the developing industrial production today. New-generation gabardine fabrics that provide cost-effectiveness and ease of production can be produced using cotton, polyester, and viscose blended yarn types.
